With Woman., we set out to create a short film that could inform viewers about the struggles of endometriosis. I took on the roles of 1st Assistant Director (1st AD) and Editor. Passionate about editing and creating films, I was drawn to the strong messages and themes within Woman. Finishing University, I aim to develop my editing skills and pursue a career in this field, as I believe editing is a powerful storytelling tool. I am proud of what our project has achieved, and am excited to see what the future holds for Woman.
By some twisted miracle, Eva is pregnant. Her head spins as she fears this may be her only shot at motherhood - the risk of infertility constantly looms over her due to her endometriosis, but so does the high likelihood of pregnancy complications and further agony. She confides in her flatmate Angel, facing a difficult conversation with her friend who cannot biologically carry children as a trans-woman.
