Roadkill Rockband is an animated short intended for the NZ film festival. This project gained my interest early on in the year and so I took up the role as one of the animators, to step out of my comfort zone of doing mostly 3D animations. I'm proud of the contribution I made as an animator on this project and hope to continue growing my animation skills in the future.
Diego, a guitar wielding coyote, is freaking out. Is it the zombie apocalypse or a hungry employee outside? Either way, this is sick! Roadkill Rockband is a 2 minute, 2D animated comedy made in Toonboom Harmony. This Major Project Production was an opportunity for our team to learn and develop our skills working within a 2D animation pipeline. The finished film will be shown at film festivals around the country.
