Creating Flow State has been a once in a lifetime opportunity that has taught me so much about myself and filmmaking. As the Director and Editor, I set out to create a film that has a distinct visual style supported by a rich, emotional narrative. Through this project I have made so many meaningful connections that I hope to continue to develop into my career as a filmmaker.
Flow State is a short documentary about a community of like-minded individuals who walk across a tightrope suspended against the iconic Remarkables mountain range. Pushing mental and physical abilities alongside the boundaries of the sport, this documentary is really about confronting one's past to move forward into the future.
