Being the co-writer for Umbra, I took on the responsibility of taking ideas to the page and making them feasible for our production while working closely with talented group members. Later in the production, I was recording sound on-set to later assist me for my sound editing and mixing process. Being responsible for all of the sound and music in the film has been a challenging and exciting experience.
In the aftermath of a global catastrophe, Zoe struggles to survive following the vanishing of her daughter to the 'Umbra'. With the world's population decreasing every day into the darkness, Zoe is forced to navigate this remote world by herself, until she encounters a young survivor, who brings Zoe's trauma to the forefront.
