On the documentary Flour Power I took up the role of editor. I found it challenging but rewarding and throughout all stages of the edit aimed to craft a heartwarming story about our participants and how baking has changed their lives. This project is one that my crew and I have worked very hard on and I'm excited to share these stories with the world.
Flour Power is a short documentary following six volunteers for the charity Good Bitches Baking. For some of our Good Bitches, joining this charity was just icing on the cake. For others, it was a source of happiness and peace in otherwise turbulent times. Our aim is to support the organisation's goal of reclaiming the word 'bitch', to share the power found in domestic spaces, and to celebrate the magic of home baking.
