As the cinematographer (DOP), Gaffer and Editor on Hooked, I strived to create engaging visuals with quality being a huge part of our project, my primary goal was to bring our short film to life whilst articulating our narrative to its full potential. As editor of Hooked, it was a rewarding process growing this project into the final product for everyone to enjoy.

Hooked is a coming of age story that is nestled and wrapped in a dramatic and inspirational journey of one young man's mission to find respect. The themes of false masculinity, validation, and respect throughout our film is a reflection of the pressures placed upon young kiwi males by unrealistic representations of male stereotypes shown in the media.
