Relation showcases my current identity. Through an auto-ethnographic investigation of my dress practice, I explore an external understanding of self, shaped by relationships with friends and family, and their hand-me-downs. These enables connections, and a sense of self through dressing. This sentimentally-driven recognition of clothing and it’s ability to embody human relationships, leads to exploration of emotional durability as combatant to the commodification of clothing within fast fashion.
