Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours
An aspect I find important to my practice is familiarity and what this provokes. I visualise my works as mundane aspects and activities I have experienced. Things that are familiar, but most times overlooked and the beauty that comes from recreating these elements. I show this using texture, form, and abstraction. I seek to uncover the depths of nostalgia, how can I make art that provokes the memories of others?
