Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours
Through themes of unease, disgust, and distress ‘Harden Up’ is a sculptural installation that explores how we recognise physical attributes that make us uncomfortable. Using gelatine and fluids alongside polymer clay, the work is aimed to provoke a sense of ambivalence in the viewer as the sensory work invites curiosity. The materials serve as a reflection of the body and its fragility.
