Catharsis is a series of work that explores mental and physical trauma or abuse and the journey to self love. I am examining my personal process of healing and growth following experiences of gender based aggression and violence, mental illness and negative self image as a result of the impacts of social media. The work simultaneously explores nature as a healing tool, both symbolically and physically creating a safe space.
