Aid helps designers reduce the amount of waste that they produce during the prototyping process through the use of an AI assistant. Through a projector with built-in lidar cameras and a robotised mount, the AI suggests nesting patterns to the user to help them utilise the materials they are using most efficiently. Furthermore, Aid can also be used to visualise a concept or play around with different iterations through projections.
