~Albatross Nest~ is a collection of colour, objects and sound.

This project is a reflection on the sun’s indexical and shifting relationship to time and how we might experience it through observation, perception and place. This is specifically explored through the porous boundaries of abstract painting and sculpture as they relate to everyday life. Centred around the South Coast of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, I am committed to a certain kind of experience in the hope of finding optimism and a positive way forward during an era seeped in crisis.
