Ruby Hawthorne (Rubes Hawthorne)

For 'Unearthed & Obsolete', I aimed to create an album recorded with, and written from the perspective of, a reel-to-reel tape machine. I wanted to shed light on the environmental impacts of technology becoming swiftly outmoded by innovation, providing an alternative where it is instead restored and used for its unique capabilities.
