Reach into the soil is a site-based response, formed upon Ngāti Toa and Te Atiawa land. To nurture and dignify the embodiment of land through photography, in our unique position under settler colonisation. Guided by morality, reach into the soil naturally developed into a sustainable, ecocentric endeavour into the representation of a natural space. In employing slow, sustainable analog photography processes, and mediative contemplation in a personal effort toward protection and representation.
