Three key sites for the archival model
The spaces and objects represented and visually translated within my Archival Model are accurately located, but their depiction in this collection seems chaotic and misplaced.

An alternative archive of the 1939-1940 New Zealand Centennial Exhibition.
This alternative archiving project suggests a non-standard system for the recontextualisation and display of the 1939-1940 New Zealand Centennial Exhibition. This subversive compendium explores changes over time within the Lyall Bay site through a queer lens, to review how we perceive the centennial, and its historic documentation. The Subversive Centennial is a collection of site-specific abstractions that merge the ways the space is occupied in the current-day with archival imagery to construct new narratives.
