'Dear Me…' is a graphic novel based on my past struggles with embracing my brown skin. Through illustration and storytelling, 'Dear Me…' illustrates the side effects of colourism. Told through old diary entries of an Asian brown-skinned girl named Jonn, it depicts the many ways she tried to whiten her skin before embracing her brown skin colour.
