As Producer of Flour Power I valued the opportunity to work with an amazing team and contribute both creatively and logistically to the project. I was inspired hearing the stories of how Good Bitches Baking has affected people's lives for the better. Although the film was an organisational challenge, being a part of capturing these amazing volunteers' messages was a huge honour.
Flour Power is a short documentary following six volunteers for the charity Good Bitches Baking. For some of our Good Bitches, joining this charity was just icing on the cake. For others, it was a source of happiness and peace in otherwise turbulent times. Our aim is to support the organisation's goal of reclaiming the word 'bitch', to share the power found in domestic spaces, and to celebrate the magic of home baking.
